These were recorded a new of years ago. Belle is still with us, still participating in Yiddish conversations groups, and still as feisty and adorable as ever. We lost Lou a few years ago and those of us who knew him miss him all the time. Some of what you’ll hear below are the classic Yiddish songs as well as some American songs Lou translated into Yiddish. Some of this is funny, some is schmaltz, but all was done with great love of the language by the couple.
